Moko Manuka Paw Balm for Dogs
Natural Dog Paw Balm | Manuka Honey Paw Protection | Dry, Cracked Paw Pads, Nose & Skin Support
Moko Manuka Paw Balm for Dogs is a natural dog paw balm made with medical-grade Manuka honey, beeswax, sunflower seed oil, coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, and vitamin E to help moisturize, soften, soothe, and protect dry or cracked paw pads.
This is a great option for pet parents looking for a natural paw balm for dogs, dog paw balm for cracked paws, Manuka honey paw balm, dog nose balm, paw protection for hot pavement, or a lick-safe balm for dry paws. It is especially helpful for dogs with rough paw pads, dry paw pads, cracked paw pads, itchy paws, minor abrasions, active outdoor lifestyles, winter salt exposure, summer pavement exposure, or paws that feel dry and sandpapery to the touch.
Best for: dogs with dry, rough, cracked, itchy, or irritated paw pads, dogs exposed to hot pavement, snow, ice melt, salt, sand, rough trails, lawn chemicals, or pet parents who want a cleaner, more thoughtful paw balm with Manuka honey.
Paw pads work hard. They help absorb shock, grip surfaces, protect the feet, and create a barrier between your dog and the environment. But pavement, concrete, ice, snow, salt, sand, rough terrain, allergens, lawn treatments, dryness, and constant licking can all wear that barrier down. When paw pads become dry, cracked, irritated, or overly rough, dogs may start licking, chewing, limping, or becoming more sensitive on walks.
Moko Manuka Paw Balm helps support the paw barrier topically while you continue looking at the bigger picture. For dogs with recurring paw licking or irritation, that may include allergies, yeast-prone skin, environmental triggers, grass exposure, moisture, gut health, omega-3 intake, or grooming habits. The balm gives the paw pads targeted moisture and protection, while still fitting into a more thoughtful, whole-dog skin care routine.

Why It Works
Dry, cracked paw pads are usually a barrier problem. When the paw pad becomes too dry or stressed, it loses flexibility. That can make the surface feel rough, tight, split, or uncomfortable. Once small cracks or irritated spots develop, dogs may lick or chew the area, which adds moisture, bacteria from the mouth, friction, and more irritation.
Moko Manuka Paw Balm helps by combining moisture, barrier support, and soothing skin ingredients in one dense but spreadable balm. The beeswax helps create a breathable layer over the paw pads, while shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, and sunflower seed oil help soften and condition dry, stressed skin. This gives the paw pads more flexibility, which is important because paw pads need to bend and move comfortably with every step.
The standout ingredient is medical-grade Manuka honey. Manuka honey is valued for its natural antibacterial properties and skin-supportive compounds. In a paw balm, it helps support a cleaner, calmer skin environment while providing nourishment for rough, irritated, or compromised paw pads.
Sunflower seed oil adds fatty acids and antioxidant support, which helps nourish the skin barrier. Shea butter and cocoa butter provide a richer emollient feel, helping lock in moisture and improve the texture of dry paw pads over time. Together, these ingredients make the balm helpful for dogs who need paw protection, not just a quick greasy coating.
For dogs with recurring paw licking, this balm can be a helpful topical tool, but it is also worth thinking about why the paws are irritated in the first place. Paw licking can be related to allergies, yeast, grass exposure, cleaning chemicals, lawn treatments, food sensitivities, pain, anxiety, or habit. A paw balm can support the skin barrier and reduce dryness, but recurring licking usually deserves a bigger-picture plan.
What Makes This Formula Different
Many paw balms are made with basic waxes or petroleum-style occlusive ingredients that simply coat the paw. That can be helpful temporarily, but ingredient-conscious pet parents often want more than a generic barrier. They want to know whether the formula is actually nourishing the skin, whether it is safe if their dog licks it, and whether the ingredients are clean, purposeful, and appropriate for regular use.
Moko Manuka Paw Balm is different because it combines a protective wax base with skin-supportive oils, rich plant butters, vitamin E, and medical-grade Manuka honey. It is designed to soften and nourish dry paw pads while creating a breathable barrier against everyday environmental stressors like pavement, salt, snow, ice melt, sand, rough trails, and grass or lawn residue.
Cheaper paw balms often rely on vague “moisturizing” claims, synthetic fragrance, mineral oil, petrolatum, or basic wax-heavy formulas that feel protective but may not offer the same level of skin-supportive nourishment. This formula uses ingredients chosen for a purpose: to moisturize, soften, protect, and support the skin barrier without synthetic fragrance or petroleum-derived ingredients.
The lick-safe design also makes it more practical for real life. Many dogs will lick their paws after anything is applied, so a non-toxic formula offers peace of mind when used as directed. Moko also includes bitter citrus notes, which may help discourage licking for some dogs.
What’s Inside and How It Helps
→ Medical-Grade Manuka Honey – The standout ingredient in this formula. Manuka honey helps support a cleaner skin environment while soothing and nourishing dry, irritated, or compromised paw pads. It is especially helpful for dogs with rough paws, minor abrasions, cracked pads, or paws that need extra topical support.
→ Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil – Sunflower seed oil is rich in skin-supportive fatty acids and antioxidants. It helps replenish and condition dry paw pads while supporting the skin barrier.
→ Beeswax – Helps create a breathable protective barrier over the paw pads. This helps shield paws from rough surfaces, moisture, salt, sand, snow, and outdoor exposure while helping lock in moisture.
→ Cocos Nucifera Oil – Coconut oil helps soften and moisturize dry skin. In a paw balm, it helps improve glide and comfort while supporting a smoother paw pad texture.
→ Shea Butter – Shea butter is a rich plant butter that helps deeply condition dry, rough skin. It supports softness and flexibility, which is especially helpful for paw pads that feel hard, dry, or cracked.
→ Cacao Seed Butter – Cocoa butter adds another layer of rich emollient support. It helps soften the paw pads and improve the balm’s protective, nourishing texture.
→ Mixed Tocopherols – A form of vitamin E that helps protect the oils in the formula from oxidation while adding antioxidant support for the skin.
How to Use
Apply sparingly to clean, dry paw pads and between the toe pads. A little goes a long way.
There is no need to shave the hair around the paws. Massage the balm gently into the paw pads and reapply as needed. Daily use can be helpful for dogs with dry or rough paws, active dogs, senior dogs, or dogs exposed to seasonal paw stress.
For winter walks, apply before going outside to help protect against snow, ice melt, and salt. When your dog comes back inside, wipe the paws with a clean, soft cloth to remove salt, ice melt, and outdoor contaminants.
For summer walks, use before exposure to hot pavement, rough sidewalks, sand, or trail surfaces. This balm can help create a protective layer, but it does not make hot pavement safe. Always check surface temperature before walking, choose cooler times of day, and avoid pavement that could burn your dog’s pads.
This balm can also be used on dry noses, elbows, ears, and other dry external areas. Avoid applying into the eyes, mouth, deep wounds, infected areas, or areas with heavy bleeding, pus, swelling, or significant pain.

i have tried several paw balms and this is my new favorite, it’s light, not greasy, easy to apply…and it has a wonderful light orange smell. it’s full of great ingredients like manuka honey, cocoa and shea butters, and beeswax to keep my paws healthy. add this one to your cart asap!!
As someone who grooms my dogs at home, I have been looking for a good paw balm for a VERY long time! Unfortunately, most paw balms are either too oily and slippery or do not seep into the paws and stay on the surface until my dogs lick or walk it off.
That is, until I try the MOKO Paw Balm!!! This paw balm is so incredibly light to the touch, creamy but not thick or oily. When applied, it immediately moisturizes the entire pad, leaving the paws soft and plump without sticking to the surface. There is a very slight citrus scent that is so refreshing and pleasant and permeates the rest of their body.
I've only used this paw balm as grooming and maintenance, but it also has Manuka honey and coconut oil, which are potent anti-bacterial ingredients that can help with cracks and cuts, and Vitamin E which promotes wound healing.
I am so happy to have finally found a high-quality paw balm! Will definitely be keeping this in our grooming kit year-round!
